"The projection surface itself allowed a highly detailed picture to be resolved to the limits of the projector's ability.
It maintained brightness even at extreme angles, and dispersed the image evenly from the extreme corners.
Colour neutrality was excellent, and the lack of any breakthrough of projected light through the thickness of the
material ensured that maximum brightness was generated."

Why use a fixed frame screen ?

With more and more homes today being built with dedicated home theatre rooms, a fixed frame screen is the perfect choice. In fact we don't recommend anything
but a fixed frame screen. Not only do fixed frame screens provide a perfectly flat viewing surface, the Oz Theatre Majestic frame adds a professional and elegant
look to any home theatre room or dedicated wall space.

There is just no need for manual or motorised screens if you have a dedicated wall space. A good example of a dedicated wall space is your local cinema or your
own cinema room. The only time a motorised or manual screen should be considered is when there is no room or wall space for a fixed screen.

The Majestic fixed frame screen will be the centrepiece of your Home Theatre... and your neighbours envy.

Points to consider when choosing between motorised and fixed are:

> Black Fidelio Velvet borders are only available with a Majestic fixed screen, therefore the image appears crisper, sharper and
overscan is all but removed using Fidelio Velvet. See the technical page to learn more about why Velvet frames are the best.
> Perfectly flat, unlike motorised screens which ripple and curl. This distorts the image.
> Much larger choice in exotic pvc projection fabrics, visually out-performing motorised and pull down screens
> Longer Warranty - 10 years on frame, 4 years on all fabrics comared to the usual 12 months and less on motor screens.
> Mechanically stable, no moving parts, no need to rely on remotes and motors which break down over time.
> Superb Australian made product using high end imported projection fabrics from Europe and Fidelio Velvet from the USA.
> Fabric can be re-tensioned if the need arises.
> Flawless video performance. Projected light is reflected back to the viewer exactly how the Projector manufacturer intended.
> Aesthetically pleasing. The Majestic is a superbly built product with an elegantly designed alloy frame covered in the blackest
   velvet known to man!

In short, The Majestic fixed screen leaves the others wanting. Just ask us for a sample kit so you can compare for yourself.

The Majestic Frame in our deluxe velvet finish

Always insist on a velour frame finish. Ripple powder coat frames are predominantly used in applications such as Churches,
conference rooms and auditoriums. Powder coated frames should never ever be used in a home theatre environment because
projected light reflects off the edge of the frame. The blacker the frame the more over scan is absorbed and the brighter the
image will appear. Our deluxe velour frame is the blackest of blacks. The result is a screen that vanishes when in use.
